Show Minersville Creek on the evening of the 4th of July. The gathering included Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis and family, Kenna Lou Kelsey, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonner and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Craw have moved into the Lottie Gray home now and will continue to make this their home. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potter have purchased the Marie Rollins home They moved into their new home ' Monday . Mr. and Mrs. Lee smith are the proud parents of a baby boy born in the Iron County Hospital on Friday, Fri-day, July 5. Maternal grandparents grandpar-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine DeMille and daughter returned to Henderson Hender-son Sunday after visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jameson . Mrs. Jennie Marquardson 1 is in Provo and American Fork to attend the Harris reunion scheduled for the 12, 13 14. Mrs. Rachel Dotson who returned to California over a month ago with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Greer to visit her daughter, Mrs. Elva Cooley who is seriously ill with a heart condition, and other relations rela-tions returned Friday with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Dotson . Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood were in Salt Lake for the Eyre Reunion over the week end. Also attending attend-ing the reunion from here was Mrs. Paulina Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Robon Dotson and family were in Salt Lake from Saturday Sat-urday until Monday visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Thuring and family. The Dotson family enjoyed a lunch up the creek the night of the 4th of July. Family members attending at-tending were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis from Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Davis and, family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dotson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dotson and family and Mrs. Lola Bohn. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Knight, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt and Mr. and , Mrs. Walt Messinger all from Cedar Ce-dar and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones from Milford were guests on the 4th at the home of their mother Mrs. Effie Marshall. They all enjoyed en-joyed a buffet luncheon in the evening. Lorna Harris was the main speaker in the Sunday evening church Sacrament service. She gave a very entertaining and educational ed-ucational report of her trip to girls state this summer. Karl Truman was the concluding speaker and the music was furnished by the congregation. Mrs. Elma Blackburn and Irma Jean are planning a trip to Denver Den-ver on Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christensen who are making their home there now. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Smith of Beaver were in Minersville to enjoy en-joy the 4th of July festivities with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Murdock and family. Mr. and Mrs. Normon Gillins of Ogden have been visiting his mother, Mrs. Alba Gillins and other oth-er relations. They were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Muir and children of Kearns.and Hugh Earl now of Salt Lake have been visiting vis-iting at the home of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn. Other visitors at the Blackburn home have been Mr. and Mrs. Ellis El-lis LaFever and Mr. and Mrs. Tom LaFever all of Mabell, Col. Raul Pearson is enjoying a trip to the boy scout janYboree at Valley Val-ley Forge, Penn. He left Friday and will stop at all the historical spots along the way. He is expected home around the 23rd of July. Other guests were classmates and friends of Mrs. Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Dick ! Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall, i. Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Erye. Hamburgers and fried potatoes were topped off with water wa-ter melon and everyone enjoyed the evening very much. Mr. and Mrs. Don Martin from Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Lor-raine Dotson from Springville visited vis-ited during the week with their father, Joseph. Eyre. Visitors at the Lynn Roberts home during the week have been Mr. and Mrs. Bill Theriot of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Garrett and family and Bob Garrett of Los Angeles. In Minersville visiting with Goldie Marshall and attending their grandmothers funeral were Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lamphere of Springville, Mrs. Helen Stubbs from Orem, Mrs. LeRee Brinkerhoff from Fillmore, Mr. and Mrs. Jean Pitch-forth Pitch-forth from Murray and Mrs. Maxine Horton from Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Seegmiller of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Jameson of St. George were week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo White of California Cal-ifornia stayed overnight with her mother, Mrs. Polly Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Roldo Rotiinson were week .end visitors at the Wilford Robinson home. They returned to Salt Lake leaving two of their children, Pamla and Robbie to vis-i vis-i it a little longer with their grand parents. Lois Rollins to'i Orem was here over the weekt, enjp visiting her grandmother, Mrs.'" Etta Rollins. She returned home Sunday taking Dixie Goff with her to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Murdock of Salt Lake visited Saturaday with Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Edwards and brother and sister-in-law from Provo enjoyed a two week vacation vaca-tion visiting points of interest through Nevada and California. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Rollins and daughter, Sandra Kay from Idaho have been visiting over the week end with his mother Mrs. Etta Rollins. Sherrie Limb of Ely, Nevada visited vis-ited during the week end with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor. Carolyn Eyre celebrated her 5th birthday Saturday with a party in her honor. She had many little guests including several cousins from out of town. Mrs. Alta Kelsey enjoyed a gathering ga-thering with her family up the Mrs. Walter Pearson over the 4th of July holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Pearson Pear-son and girls returned to Salt Lake with them for a short vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Eyre of Cedar City visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre on Saturday. The Gillins family enjoyed a reunion re-union at the home of their Mother Mrs. Alba Gillins on Saturday night Family members visiting during the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stevenson of Cedar. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Miles of California. Mr and Mrs. Dale Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gillins, Gil-lins, Mrs. Emily Gillins and Penny, Mrs. Daisy Gillins, and Donna, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gillins of Ogden. Og-den. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn were hosts to a lawn party in honor hon-or of Mr. Blackburn's birthday Tuesday evening. Guests were Mrs. Delose Hollis from Norwalk, Cel., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and family and Mrs. Flossie Rick-erson, Rick-erson, all of Milford. Mr .and Mrs. Art Myers and children from Kearns were here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers during the 4th holiday. hol-iday. T. Sgt. and Mrs. Val Marshall and Gloria are home for a vacation vaca-tion with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Holyoak and family of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Osborn and family and Kent Morgan of Beaver, all were here to enjoy the 4th of July festivities with Mrs. JoAnn Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Don Marshall and girls of Cedar were here for the 4th visiting Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Fisher and bafty were guests on the 4th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall. Mrs. Marie Rollins has purchased a house in Milford and will make her home there. |
