Show Clara Carter, president, and Beth Morgan and Jessie Ward, counselors. Mrs. Maye Atkin was presented pre-sented with a quilt by the girls of the First Ward Mutual Sunday Sun-day evening. Maye was selected se-lected by the girls as the woman contributing the most help and guidance to the youth of the ward. She has been in Mutual work for 25 years, in both ward and stake activities. BEAVER CHURCH NEWS The Melchizedek Priesthood presented the program in the First Ward Sunday evening. Jess Edwards, William E. White, Edwin Smith, Albert Muir, Gilbert Briggs, James Williams and Virginia White were the speakers, and all told o'f the values and effect the Priesthood had on their lives and the lives of their families. The Beaver Stake Sunday School Board were visitors at the Second Ward Sunday School. A social for the outgoing officers of-ficers o'f the Third Ward Relief Society was held Thursday in conjunction with the regular work meeting. A program, presented during the afternoon, included: Ladies' trio, Ina McQuarrie, Kathleen Farnsworth, and Ireta Baker; twirling exhibition, Janet Carter, Car-ter, Bonnie Moore and Sherrie Smith; accordion solo, Rosalyn Farnsworth; an original poem written for the outgoing officers offi-cers by Ireta Baker.
