Show learned that the lamed cowboy star, Rex Allen and his wife, Bambi, was here to see the mine Sunday afternoon. Rex and his horse, Cocoa, were performers in the Days of '47 rodeo in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sanchez and daughters, Madeleine, Jessie and Julie Ann, were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday evening. Participating in the youth parade par-ade in Salt Lake City last Friday from Copperfield was Dora Do-minguez, Do-minguez, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Romulo Dominguei. Johnny Moyeda spent Wednesday Wednes-day at the Alfred Sanchez home. A farewell party for Mrs. Harry Har-ry Gardikas was held at her home on Thursday night of last week. Hostesses were Mrs. Tony Jaterka and 'Mrs. Bert Ivie. Attending At-tending were Mrs. John Panta-lone, Panta-lone, Mrs. Ann Maxwell and Mrs. Alice Burke of Bingham, Mrs. Nick Nevers of Copperton, Mrs. Bessie Jackson and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Jackson ' of Salt Lake City, Mrs. A. J. Baletka of Granger, Mrs. George Gardikas and Mrs. Manila Anderson of Midvale, Mrs. M. J. "Scotty" Robertson, Ro-bertson, Mrs. Mary Jane Crow, Mrs. Roy Hardman and Mrs. Andy An-dy Gibson. Refreshments of punch, sandwiches, pickles, olives, oliv-es, potato chips and cookies were served. A delightful time was had. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gardikas moved Wednesday to Salt Lake City where they plan to make their new home. : COPPERFIELD : Mrs. Teddy Kawaguchi and children, Rose and Billy, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kawa and family visited with Mr. Kawa's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Kawa of Ogden Tuesday, July 24th. Mr. and Mrs. David Gonzales, Martha Miya and Rose Kawa returned re-turned home Monday afternoon from a week's vacation in Los Angeles, Calif. Copperfield Troop 112 enjoyed enjoy-ed a watermelon bust up at the "Big Tree" Tuesday evening. It was sponsored by George Hard-man, Hard-man, Raul and Mike Gonzales.
