Show 'RESULTS OF BLOOD DRAWING i The Red Cross Blood Procurement Procure-ment program which was held m Binjiham on October 9th had the following results according to the acting chairman, Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen, and George Knudsen, Kennecott chairman w ho was in charge of distributing distribut-ing the pledge cards Over the "hill"; Gl Kennecott employees and 12 volunteers not employed by the company gave a total of (i.'i pints of urgently needed blood. Assisting the drivers of the two mobile units used in this operation to unload and reload all of the heavy equipment Used were the following volunteers which responded to Mayor Mor-ley's Mor-ley's call: Mike Chanak, Tom Bernardo, Leonard Bell, George Golish, Charles Kelly, Ross Pino, Joe Susaeta, Udell George, driver driv-er of bus which was at the disposal dis-posal of donors, and Tommy Lo-vat Lo-vat and Louis Susaeta. An "Honor Roll" in duplicate has been furnished Mr. Knudsen to post on the bulletin boards, that the 61 men may know how much we appreciate their response, re-sponse, Mrs. Knudsen said and the following volunteers are in addition to the names placed on the Kennecott honor roll, who reported as donors in this drive: Mrs. Francis Quinn, Mrs. Ralph Murano, Mrs. Walter Leather-wood, Leather-wood, Mary G. Hakanson, Mrs. John Osoro, Margaret S. Borich, Gwen Parker, Mrs. Harvey Goff, Dan E. Roberts, Earl T. James, Paul LaBounty, Grant Evans and Flonen Sutherland. All of the volunteer workers from the community and the Red Cross unit wish to thank tho donors and hope they will be a-vailable a-vailable for future calls. The need is still great. O |
