We must banish any thot of voting for anyone just because of an intimate friendship. Think of We ber's future, consider and then vote. To make a successful president one must have several qualifications. First to be in accord with the constitution he must have eleven units of credit. He must be a true Weber Student. Under any condition he must exhibit a vein of patriotism for Weber, which would be on a par with the American patriotism of a U. S. soldier at the front He must be proud of Weber and always place student body affairs above anything else pertaining to school. He must be a natural leader politically and socially. His influence must be felt by the all from the smallest Freshman to the largest Senior. He must be equal to all social conditions. He must have an abundant supply of ginger and pep. to push any acticity to grand success. The president must be an example of scholarship, the leader of the student body and a real student. Ability to speak impromto or otherwise is an important essential for a successful president. In all the classes of this student body there is but one man qualified for this position. This is Mr. Russell Petty. He has a surplus of c. edits. He is a Weberite to the core. He is a natural leader, as has been shown during his presidency of the class of '19. The success of the prom proved his ability as a social leader. His pep and ginger have often been displayed in past activities, all of which he is deeply interested in. In all this student body a better scholar is not to be found and as a speaker lie can far surpass the average. Consider and analyize this. You must conclude that there is no one in the student body who is so well qualified or who has the necessary essentials for the president of the student body of the Weber College as Russell Petty. Cast your vote right and Russell Petty will successfully lead this stu dent body next year. By a Student. Mr. Farr My goodness, son, what are you getting home at this time in the morning for?
