Kazzoozzoo sent his material to us, which should have appeared two weeks ago, but owing to a strike on the Sahara Desert of the camels, the copy was delayed. We later learned that the four-footed beasts struck and demanded that they only be forced to go 6 days without a drink instead of 8. They won the strike and we received the material safely. YVc believe that the subsequent articles will arrive on time.) At a party held at Pat's recently, k'ssing games were indulged in. Please tell what a kiss is. O. A. JACOBS. A kiss, little one, is a dose of concentrated essence of bliss taken by those suffering from, palpitation ' of the heart. It is also known as an I osculation, buss, etc., and is some-, times vulgarly referred to as"tearing-one-off." Bciujtf recommended by all authorities on the subject, it has the peculiar propensity of intensifying instead of alleviating the malady. As it is not a patent remedy it may be manufactured by anyone and is unusually popular with people of sentimental inclinations. It should be used sparingly though it is often taken in overdoses which tend to bring about harmful results. It is usually taken through the mouth but unless care is used may be placed upon the nose when applied in the dark. A kiss closely resembles the hole of a doughnut being round in shape and may be recognized by the protrusion of the lips of the patient under treat s4llr 'I IP n ip 1 ' ALUMNI PLAY PLEASES AUDIENCE "The Big Idea" Excellent Comedy The Big Idea, the splendid little comedy presented November 10 by the Alumni association for the benefit of Weber's new gymnasium proved one of the most finished productions Ogdori people have had the pleasure of witnessing. It was a performance which not only brought money to the "gym," but glory to Weber. The characters showed themselves artists, and held the audience as only professional players do. Ernest McKay and Gladys Peterson in the leading roles exhibited talent rarely seen on the amateur stage. M-iss Peterson was charming and captivated more than one heart. Mr. McKay in his difficult role of lover, author, prospective, suicide kept the audience in a turmoil of suspense, laughter and sympathy. David Wilson, as James Howard the father, ment. The delivery of this remedy has a district sound resembling closely the no'se made by Seniors siphoning noodles. There are as many styles of delivery as "there are freckles on Ccany's nose. There are also many varieties, chief of which are: the kiss and make up, the soul kiss and the kiss of. Judas. Confidentially yours, KAZOOZOO. I fear that someone is trying to steal Ruth from me. Can you tell me who it is? CLAUD LINDSAY. 1 know of no one who would dare, unless Franc's Wood. It has always been my desire to be a handsome Prince Charming. I know Pate intended to make me so Why am I not? . FLOYD CAMPBELL. Why place. the blame on Fate? We suggest that you take clown the family album and look therein for the cause. It may be a case of heredity, you know. We have tried everything on and off the market: lemon extract, tan-lac, carbolic acid, ?tc, etc. etc., but as yet have failed to find a "joy producer" with sufficient kick to disturb our equilibrium. Can you help us? JACK AND DOC. ' Ltd. the "Hard-ones." You might see Orval. He claims that his cider is so hard that one swig will make you feel so like crushed rock that you will lie down and try to pull the asphalt over you. My flivver never will run smooth but 'nevertheless I am very fond of it and would like to give it a name. Please suggest something appropriate. JOE BREWER. You might call it "True Love." I called on Cleone last night and after 1 had presented her with a box of candy, she patted my cheek and called me a peach. What could she have meant? PHIL JEPPSON. There is only one conclusion wc can draw from this and it pains us to make it public. Have we said enough when we say that peaches have very fuzzy skins? As ever, KAZZOOZZOO. FROM $7.50 to $12 50 A PAIR Clara's 2358 Washington Avenue Stewart Eccles as Mr. Byrne, Hyium Belnap as Gilmore, Stanley Rhecs as Stephen Bingham and Clarence Brown as Jim, all made the most of their parts as did Eva Cragun ii the role of Mrs. Howard, Adele Warner in that of Elsie Howard and Josephine Volker in that of Alary, the maid. Each, contributed his part toward the success of the play. Too much can hardly be said in praise of the director Mrs. Blarch Kendell McKay. Mrs. McKay is herself an artist both on the stage and as playwright and she spared no efforts in making every detail of staging, grouping, and expression, beautiful and effective. The play had the foremost which only an artist could give. As a school we wish to thank her, the cast and the Alumni association. J. S. Lewis Co.
