A brief documentary will be shown to raise awareness about the challenges individuals with autism and their families face. Following the documentary, an expert panel of parents, physicians, counselors and advocates will share their experiences with coming-of-age decisions they have had to make. Topics of discussion will include guardianship, independent living, housing needs, education and community life. Weber State University hosts 26th National Conference on Undergraduate Research 29-31. Approximately 175 WSU students will be among those presenting their original research, scholarly and creative projects. Chosen as the 2012 conference site through a competitive bidding process, WSU was selected because of its long history of actively supporting and taking a leadership role in undergraduate research.
