Corbridge also won the 45 to 50 age bracket. They decided to take their game to a higher level at the Northwest Regional Championships that were held in Boise, Idaho, April 15-18. "We wanted to find out just what level we were playing at," Corbridge said. In the tournament at Boise, he was competing against players from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Despite some fierce competition, Corbridge continued his streak and went to the championship game where he faced Dick Melhart, a player from Washington. Melhart is presently ranked in the top 10 in the nation in the 45 to 50 age bracket and last year he was ranked number one in the nation in the 50 and over age group.
