The game is fast and competitive but the league consist of players from all skill levels. The game is played with six players on the court field and FIFA rules will be followed. Games will be heldintheSwensonGym Monday through Thursday evenings. If your a swimmer, splasher or sinker this next event just might beforyou. Inner Tube Water Polo is just what is says. The teams consist of five players which must actually be on top of the inner tube during play. You don't even have to be a swimmer. Sportsclubsarealsooffered by Campus Recreation. During winter quarter members of such clubs as Weber Ski Club and racquetball club participate in various events. The racquetball club participates in tournaments against other area colleges. The winners continue on to the Rocky Mountain re- "A cross-country ski race will be held in January at Nordic Valley in conjunction with Winterfest..." gionals and possibly to the National Intercollegiate Championship Tournament competing with colleges from around the country. The club is open to both men and women and is a great opportunity to interact with other students outside of the classroom. Weber State Ski Club partici pates in five collegiate races through out the year, hosting their own race at a local ski resort. Training begins in autumn with races taking place during winter quarter. Intramurals also offers special event competitions through out the quarter. A Cross-country ski race will be held in January at Nor-die Valley in conjunction with Winterfest. Snow Football has captured the interest of many die-hard football fans. Play begins January 25, on the south playing field. Skiing & Snowboarding competition atNordic Valley, has already begun. Racing will be four weeks with a race-off taking place the fifth week.
