"Everyone hasbeen super nice to me and the facilities are nice." One aspect of WSU that impressed her was how councilors and professors were willing to explain the different programs and classes offered on campus. Freeze wanted live in Utah again because she said she loves the mountains and she wants to live in "Mormon country," since she's a member of the LDS religion."I'm 1,600 miles away from my family, and when you're that far from home, it's nice to have The ASWSU senate postponed the following Legislation until next week: International StudentsSena-tor Gudrun Schell asked the senate for support as she attempts to find funds for the international banquet. "I've been told it's tradition, part of Emphasis Week. We had problems with the recent banquet. People were not showing up. There were only three people doing the job," she said. Social Science Senator Ufo Eric-Atuanya said he doesn't think the senate should get involved, and that responsibility should lie with the International Student Club. 'The senate is here to help the students have their voices heard. It's just a researching alternative," Arts and Humanities Senator Crystine Riches said refuting Atuanya's argument. The 1992-93 ASWSU president may be asked to hold a student government fall leadership retreat on multicultural issues.
