Alvey earned his Bachelor's degree from Weber State and had worked at the hospital for six years, serving in public relations. "I'm the guy doctor's hired to stand out front and make people sick." he said. Playing his pleasing brand of music, Alvey called the students who were busy eating and talking, a tough audience. " I'm use to it." he said. "These students still enjoy the music." Alvey has written, recorded and produced a cassett entitled "Windstar" which is currently on sale at Wisebird Bookery. "When the Union Station was here, they would have people come in and play for the students. This is why I like to come." he said. r. r .. 4't ! ki - i fc The student hunt (or textbooks continues although school has been In session (or a week.
