Show Sports Week e vents continue with New Games Mini-Festival Activities connected with National Physical Education and Sports Week continue at WSC today with a New Games Mini-Festival in the UB and quad scheduled for 11:30 to 1:30. March 1-7 has been set aside on a national basis to emphasize the importance of physical education and sports in the life of the American nation. Today isEveryone-walk-run-bike-to-work-or-school Day and the New Games Mini-Festival is also designed to encourage students to lead active lives by developing and retaining fitness. Among the new fitness-oriented ft - 1 v k ' -N games to be revealed is a 6 foot earth ball (see picture). A movie on running, "Run Dick, Run Jane," will be shown tomorrow at noon in the Union Building lounge and a dance presentation is slated for Thursday at noon at the same location. On Friday, the concluding day of the special week, there will be a team mini-marathon relay. Four members make up a team and the key to winning is to guess the time for your team to cover the 13 miles. Registration for the relay is 11:30 a.m. at the gym, and the event will last from noon until 3 p.m. Each team member must run a minimum of one-half mile on per leg, and the members alternate throughout the relay.
