BLUE KEY National Honor Fraternity recently selected officers for the academic year, 1969-70. Those chosen to lead the fraternity next year were: Dee Burton, president; Jerry Baker, vice president; Tim Blackburn, vice president of public relations; Larry Quist, secretary; Rex Bybee, treasurer; and Al Belt, alumni secretary. Summer registration for day, night is scheduled Registration for summer quarter day and night school will begin Monday June 16, 1969. Day registration will begin at 8 a.m. and night school registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. All registration will be held in the technical education building - A late registration fee of $5. Cost for full time day will be $109.00 and the cost for night school ranges from $7.50 to $42.50 with a $3.00 building fee added on. Upon receipt of such a request, the county sheriff, city police department or highway patrol must render all necessary assistance without expense to the institution of higher education. All personnel while rendering such assistance shall serve under the general direction of the chief administrative officer of the institution or the officer or employee designated by him to maintain order on the campus or related facility. Section 7. Nothing in this act shall limit the right or duty of any local law enforcement agency to enforce the law which it had prior to this enactment. Section 8. Unless otherwise specified herein a violation of this act is a misdemeanor. All new students andre-admission students who have made application and have been accepted for summer session will register at 10 a.m. All other students will register at 10:30 a.m. Night school registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. for returning night school students. All other students will register at 6:30 p.m. There will be no pre-registration for fall quarter this year. 51 radio announces confesf KSL Radio will salute the colleges of the Salt Lake valley in" their "Sugar Bowl" contest starting Thursday May 21 and for seven days they will call students who are listed in the college phone directory. This is part of the "Commencement Week Sugar Bowl." Every hour the amount in the Sugar Bowl is announced and the station then calls a student from , one of the colleges around. If the student knows the amount in the Sugar Bowl he automatically wins it. 1 Once a day they have a Grand Hour in which they add one thousand dollars to the regular amount, just think that would pay for one whole year for a lucky Weber Stater if he just listens to the radio.
