Show Kirs. Clark to Direct Colleens Mrs. Roger (Frankie) Clark, for the past three years a Logan High School teacher, will direct the Weber State Colleens, a drill team that performs at athletic contests and other events. She will also teach physical education classes. A precision drill team instructor who has directed her high school show troupe to regional honors has joined the Weber State College staff. Since July 26 the Colleens have practiced three times a week in readiness for their fall appearances. Mrs. Clark, a Utah State University graduate, takes the place of Mrs. Clarence Waterfall, who will continue as dance director and physical education instructor . While at Logan High, Mrs. Clark was director of the Logan Hi-Los, apreci-sion drill-dance team that last year won first place in a western regionalcom-petition for high school teams. Mrs. Clark received a trophy as the outstanding precision instr u c t i o n. A year earlier her Logan girls placed second in a similar event. Mrs. Clark was a member and vice president of the Aggiettes at USU, and was also anofficer of USU's sponsor corps ofthe ROTC. She was also a Phi Kappa Phi, national honorary scholastic fraternity. The new WSC director said she will limit Colleen membership to 20, with 16 members appearing in the drill performances. Margie Thurgood is Colleen captain for the 1965-66 year. The Colleens' first appearance under their new instructor will be during the Homecoming Celebration next October. TOIIITE!
