The dance will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, at the Browning to reproduce Guy Lombardo at the Flamingo. Tom Jensen, Sigma, showed his ability on how to win friends and influence people. By the way, Phoenix's new sweat shirts look more like an A.F. insignia than a club emblem. Everyone plans to attend the MALEFIC, which will be the dance of the year. Bv Janet Lund So many things have been happening in the last few weeks that it's hard to say who did what and how it happened. Friday was the Thanksgiving Turkey Stuff, a dance given to honor the day the pilgrims celebrated. But Plymouth was never like this. A live turkey was given as a door prize. Anyone had any practice lately? Saturday was the Committee Party. All the members of the various committees: special events, dance, films and lectures, etc., congregated at the Union Building after the game and spent the night shooting pool, bowling, and eating, eating, eating. Cobble Cottage saw the shining faces of the Otyokwa Squaws last Tuesday, night as they held their annual Pledge Banquet. New Papooses received their big sisters and the highlight of the night was the announcement of Sue Nicker-son and Dixie Taylor as president and secretary of the freshman pledges. Ellen Simonsen and Pam Brown were "chosen" as pledge captains and have planned some fun services for them. Phoenix will be off to Phoenix, Arizona, on Christmas Day for a week of rousing fun. Members and pledges are collecting their coins in anticipation of a memorable vacation. Approximately 30 Birdmen will be migrating. There's a Playboy Club, and a few extra goodies there, so the quarter can't end too soon for them. Phoenix and L.D. will be sponsoring SnoBall on December 13.
