The array of salads pictured brings to mind only a few of the colorful and attractive 'arrangements that can be made with these two favorite foods. Mold the cottage cheese for a different version of this dairy food. It combines with many flavors in a gelatin mold, two of which we feature today. Blue cheese and cottage cheese in a heart shaped mold over two Cling peach halves adds a tangy flavor to these mildly flavored foods. An appetite tempter is molded cottage cheese in which is zesty mayonnaise and chopped pecans arranged with peaches. Sliced peaches made into various fruit gelatin molds, set against snowy white cottage cheese add eye and taste appeal because of their colorful contrast. Canned cling poaches are a natural for the many fruit flavored gelatins. A simple effective arrangement of just peaches and cottage cheese can spark interest in a salad combination. Place a rounded serving cf cottage cheese on greens. Arrange sliced canned Cling peaches around the cottage cheese in petal fashion for a flower salad. Green pepper is colorful for the stem and leaves. Another suggestion is to place the sliced peaches into the mound of cottage cheese wide enough apart to make a yellow and white striped effect. ' 4 f, - 'I; Feminine Look For Spring Winter is gone and fashion design and fabrics have lined up and are ready for their march into the Spring campaign. There are two major sillhou-ettes. The dress designers favor the soft, flaming look achieved by pleats, bias flares and Mousing. The suit designers rally behind the straight, linear shape without much architecural leeway. The feminine soft trend will bring out fabrics with a new supple animation. Daytime fabrics will be weightless wool plaids and checks, the geometric abstracts in silk crepes, and a new group of airy textured cotton suitings. For evening, the winners are lace, organza aiii gossamer chiffon. The all-season favorite in color is white for day and night. The National Institute of Dry-cleaning points out that many white fabrics will change color because of loss of fluorescent brighteners, dyes or tints. Some brighteners are affected by sunlight, laundry detergents, chior-ine bleaches or steam in pressing. The white turns to yellow. This change is not limited to any specific fiber. The Institute adds that the loss of brightness of fluorescent dyed fabrics does not occur in drycleaning. A change may be noticed after drycleaning clue to t h e removal of soil that masked the change which occurred in use.
