A:, conjoint conference of Wayne and Richfield stakes held at Fish lake. . Farmers are busy harvesting .their grain. The hum and clatter of binders and droppers may be heard from early morn until .eve. Owing to the heavy rain of a week ago, much wheat isbadly tangled; this means an increased labor in cutting. Improvement is the spirit of the hour. H. J. Burgess is having a new fence built; David Rogers of St. George, who has just finished his labor on Jas. B. Bracken's house, lias takcii the contract con-tract . Plans are being matured for the fencing of our graveyard, also for finishing fin-ishing the fence around the public square' J. N.
