Henry Schlaeppi, Sr., and wife oi-Middleton oi-Middleton are visiting relatives here. The Taylor Bros, started on Saturday for Milford with several loads of wood. Lightning struck the timber last Saturday Sat-urday and set fire to it. It was still burning last night. Levy Pace returned from the Ken--Uicky mission field last Thursday; He has been away three years and is well and hearty. Chas. Anderson, representing the Utah Nursery Co., was here the fore part of the week: also a drummer of the Z. C. M. I. John Mafhis, of St. George, is here, the guest of his brother Henry, trying the effects of climatic change on his-health, his-health, which has been bad lately, Grain all cut and stacked; threshing will commence next Tuesday, We have a fine crop and will have some over for the starving Cubans and Spaniards.
