Lund aud John Henry Sraith spoke to a meeting of teachers and students on the evening of the fourth inst. Partly as a result of the concert conducted con-ducted by Professor Lund, the music department has received one hundred dollars' worth of books. Professor Maud May Bubcoek of the University will give one of her delightful delight-ful programs before tlie Literary Society on Saturday night. Social and economic questions are more widely discussed since tlie recent lectures by Mrs. Stetson. She is perhaps per-haps the most brilliant woman in America; she was regarded as such at the National Council of women held last year. |
