afternoon mrs truman was always known to be a good ne gh bor a kind and loving wife and moth ei and a faial ful latter day saint her life was devoted to her home and family she died as she had liv ed thinking of her children a needs her husband and one son died three years ago during the flu she leaves the following children geo A truman mrs lois huntsman thorn thom as truman mrs emma hafen arth ur P truman mrs retta hiatt and mrs lucy holt the sunday school gave a valen tine dance last friday night which should have been given on valentine night but was postponed on account of sickness the hall was very beautifully decorated old time dances were danced to old time music the lumber purchased by the corn com mercial club to build benches tor for the seating of the meeting house arrived saturday work on the benches commenced today toquerville toquerville march 6 5 martin slack jr a life long resident here died on the 1st last a direct result of influenza he was born here 63 years ago the son of martin and eliza ann alin slack he married amel la ta theobald who survives him to gether with a large family all of whom are married but two their many friends offer sympathy to the nurse her son and family through the flu she contracted the die dis ease but has recovered and returned home mrs julia graff of st george came out to take care of her son and family during their bliss hardy from las egas Is here teaching the fifth and sixth grades in miss a place the children like her fine mr air rice from las vegas one of our county commissioners was here yesterday on an
