Show OBITUARY HEIt te mrs carlah passed away at st george utah feb 18 16 1921 ag aged ed 8 83 3 years she was the only child ot of lewis robbing robbins who flaa as accident ly killed at the rock quarry while rock waa was being obtained tor for building the st george stake tabor tabernacle nacle and francis smith robbins deceased j was born at far west Blisso missouri url in 1888 1838 when eleven years old her mother died leaving her with strang ers her father was on a mission in england at the time and when he re turned he brought a wife with him when 13 years old carlah robbins started to cross the plains with ox team the party landing in salt lake valley in 1852 in 1856 1866 ebe sloe waa was married to charles Pulst pher and in 1862 IS 62 she accompanied her husband v to st george they lived at pipe t springs ariz for some time tending the church cattle and in 1887 moy ed to huntington where she lived until the last four years during the last tour four tears ears of her life she lived most of the time with her daughter mrs W E alger at enterprise about three months ago she waa was brought to tha the home of her grand daughter mrs william cunningham at st george where she died mrs la survived by three children mrs sariah black ot 0 hunt IPA curth faga 4 jo OBITUARY OT tid ion t nasr ington charles of mapleton and mrs ida alger of enterprise also 22 grandchildren and TO great grandchildren funeral services were held in the st george stake tabernacle on the lath dinst under direction of the west ward bishopric singing was furnished by the relief society choir tae speakers were pres edw H snow elder jos T atkaln elder W G allies and bishop jas mcarthur interment was made in the city cemetery the grave being decorated with beautiful flowers |
