Show WANT ROAD TO 3 willis imlay one ot of hurricanes most progressive citizens was a business visitor here tuesday when asked if it were true that he contemplated moving from hurricane be he replied that he had been thinking ot of doing so but thought though tit it likely now that he would remain at tit hurricane and build a new residence there he having sold his former home mr ift imlay sat said d the people of hurricane felt that they were too far from the county seat having to travel 33 miles whereas a road could be built at no very great expense that would shorten this distance nearly one halt half he said there was no necessity for building a bridge across the river as a good road could be put through from the st george bridge that would be only 18 miles from st george to hurricane he said further that it if there was such a road he would build a home in st george so that his children could go to school here hero as he Is averse to his children being away from home while they obtained their schooling an effort should certainly be made to build this road it if the county lg Is unable at this time to do it why not the people of the two towns get to gether and devise aoma some plan whereby with the help ot of the county it could bo be done |
