Show mrs elida snow dies k suddenly at salt lake sirs mrs eilda elida crosby snow died suddenly of heart failure at salt lake city last saturday at the home of her daughter mrs airs P J jensen mrs afro snow left here the fore part of july to visit relatives at salt lake and nas as then in normal health tho the news of her sudden death which was receded here sunday morning was as a severe shock to the members of her I 1 family and her numerous friends the remains arrived here tuesday afternoon accompanied by her son pr ir lawerence laverence snow of park city and wife her daughter miss anna atins snow and mrs george condle who had been visiting in the northern part of the state mrs airs snow was a daughter of jesse IV and hannah B crosby she was born in salt lake city dec dee 30 1864 1854 and moved to st george sith alth her parents in 1861 when the first arst pioneers located here under the leadership of apostle erastus snow she was married to erastus I 1 B snow in october 1874 her husband died in september 1900 sister snow was a woman of noble character bereft of her husband twenty years ago she applied herself diligently to the care and raising of her children every one of whom Is a credit to her painstaking care and love she was devoted to church duties taking an active part in relief society work and working in other organizations she was a good and kind neighbor full of sympathy tor for those in sorrow and charitably inclined toward all sister snow was a true latter day saint and ruled her life so that she might gain the eternal reward promised the faithful she was the mother of nine children two of whom preceded her beyond the vell veil those living are mrs Arti artimesia jensen of salt lake city pr dr lawerence C snow of park city erastus B leo A and miss anna of bt st george mrs afro josephine sandberg of hurricane and mrs lyle jensen jense on of emery funeral services were held in the sti st george stake tabernacle at 4 p m wednesday bishop isaac C macfarlane presiding there was a very large attendance the speakers were elders D H cannon thos P cottom samuel ison isom E H snow I 1 C macfarlane and bister sister miles a the service commenced with a trio I 1 oh heatless hest less sea sung by sisters hannah pike emma forsha and nellie bringhurst miss evelyn thurston presided at the pl piano ano elder william gardner offered prayer william rende rendered zed a violin solo pres david H cannon told of the good work done by sister snow and her husband who ho had preceded her to the spirit world had known them both well they bad had earned the blessings of immortal immortal life by their strict integrity and good life here the speaker told of the beauty of the heavenly home and the joy that aalta the faithful he also referrer to the blessings attending tempie temple attendance the spirit of the departed sister bad had gone to a place of rest where she could commune with her husband told the sons and daughters of the departed did it said he knew her sons and daughters would miss their mother greatly they knew her true value and would abide by her counsel sister snow was a good woman strong in her principles patient and lived her religion be he was glad to bear this testimony to her worth prayed that the children might be blessed to rejoin their father and mother bishop I 1 C macfarlane bore a strong trong testimony to the goodness and integrity of sister snow and her family with whom he had been intimately acquainted tor for over thirty years the late E B D snow was a man of god noble honest and good to his family sister ellda had been one with him in all things she had faithfully filled her mission she had been left anith a young family and had raised them in the principles of life and salvation she was active in all the affairs of life and her family followed her good example was proud of their active work in fit the ward brother and sister snow were a valiant pair and the lord had blessed them with
