Show CHRISTMAS PARCELS FOR SOLDIERS OVERSEAS SAILORS christmas parcels may be sent only by individuals holding coupons from some soldier overseas each soldier has been provided with a coupon which will be sent to the person whom he desires to send the parcel christmas parcels must be packed in boxes which will be provided to the holder of coupon by the red cross through miss maude R snow no inflammable material nor intoxicating liquors may be placed in the parcels no note or message or written matter of any kind will be permitted I 1 to remain in the boxes when the package has been packed it should be taken unwrapped and unsealed together with the label or coupon to the nearest collection cen ter designated by the red cross D R forsha bt george after inspection by authorized red cross inspectors and has been wrapped in stout paper the christmas label bearing the name of the man for whom it is intended will be placed upon it and it will then be sealed with the red cross inspection label the person sending the parcel must affix sufficient stamps on it to carry it to its destination remember the final date tor presentation sen tation to the red cross is nov 20 there can be no deviation from this or any of the foregoing rules no coupon is necessary tor packages sent to members of U naval forces on board ship either at home or abroad none of these rules apply to american in siberia the american soldiers there may chris jsu sis f |
