games v THE UNITED DIXIE CLUB that the united dixie club is becoming very popular is proven by the large crowd which attended the list last meeting held nov 16 A very delightful was rendered one which almost cracked the sides of the members with laughter the harmony brethren rend rendered red a beautiful quartet sung by six and everyone was delighted to know thit that we have such promising talent in our school we are sure eure that they will accomplish much along the musical line DIXIE PRACTICAL agriculture CLUB pres thomas P cottam addressed the club on home industry 11 he told of the many opportunities and advantages we hive have today over the people of earlier times and commented on the importance of teaching agriculture and the practical vocations in schools the cry of the nation is back to the farm he showed us the importance of saving taking care of tools and implements being men wen of our word keeping ahead financially studying and planning the work before we go into it aa As we ne believed in the beginning we are steadily growing our numbers are iner increasing eating and we ne feel ne have liae aroused an interest among the outsiders mr gourley received a letter from the president of the club work ork in logan asking for particulars and officers officer of our club his purpose is to get in touch with the club workers or kers of dixie we have also decided to disend for an eight bottle milk tester which will cost the club ten dollars dol lira we will be prepared in the near future to help the dairymen of this section in selecting the cowa cows which will pay for
