| Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS state office salt lake city utah october notice is hereby given that the grass valley irrigation company by its secretary N T porter whose post office address is salt lake city utah has made application in accordance cor dance with the requirements ol 01 the compiled laws ot utah 1907 as amended by the session laws of utah 1909 to appropriate 25 cubic feet per second of water from pinto creek iron county utah about fifteen 16 cubic acel per second of said water will be diverted from the south fork of grass valley creek a branch of santa clara creek at a point which bears south 64 degrees 50 minutes eat feet distant from the south quarter comer of section 29 township 38 south range 14 west salt lake base and meridian from where it will be carried by means of a canal to a point in alie north fork of said grass valley crock which point beirs north 86 degrees minutes east feet from the west quarter corner oi section 29 township 38 south range 14 west salt lake base and meridian point is alao the confluence of falls hollow creek with the north fork of said gras valley creek at said point the water diverted from the south fork of said creek together with ten 10 cubic feet per second of water diverted from north fork of said creek will be conveyed to a point approximately in the south east quarter of section 30 township 38 south range 14 west salt lake base and meridian where it will be discharged into pinto canyon creek and allowed to flow down eaid stream to a point winch bears south 33 degrees 14 minutes west feet from the east quarter corner of section 16 township 36 south range 15 west salt lake base and meridian from where it will be diverted by means of a canal and convened for a distance of feet and there used from january 1 to december 31 inclusive of each year to irrigate acres of land embraced in sections 3 5 6 and 7 township 36 south range 15 west and sections 33 and 34 township 35 south range 15 act salt lake base and meridian this application is designated in the state engineers office as no 2386 all protests against the granting of said application stating the reasons must bo made by affidavit in duplicate and filed in this office within thirty 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice CALEB TANNER state engineer date of first publication october 28 1909 date of completion of publication november 27 1909 |
