Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Miss Ida Jolley accompanied her brother, Pfc. "wilford Jolley, to Las Vegas last week end. From there he took a plane to return to his training camp in Oklahoma. He has been home on furlough. A very outstanding social event of the fall M. I. A. program was the Gleaner party given by their i class leader, Lydia Stephens, at her home last Saturday evening. Mrs. Albert Stratton was here from Paso Robles, Calif., visiting I her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tanner, while her husband, Pvt. Stratton took in the deer hunt. A group of friends were entertained enter-tained at a dinner party Saturday Satur-day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Jr. Covers were laid for 12. Mrs. Bertha Barlocker arrived Monday from Enterprise for an extended visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sandberg. Mrs. James E. Turner entertained enter-tained a group of young women at n enrnrico rli'nnr nartu TA7orl n e s d a y evening honoring her daughter, Gwen; on her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Aggie Sproul was hostess Thursday afternoon to the I. O. M. club. Mrs. Fay Iverson was a special guest. The M. I. A. sponsored a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en party Tuesday evening. Refreshments were served following follow-ing a program and dancing. Mrs. Golden Paxman was hostess host-ess to the Rook club Wednesday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Tanner. Mrs. Esther Westover has returned re-turned from Lynnwood, Calif., where she visited relatives the past few months. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Athole Milne are their sons, Jake, from Los Angeles, and Seaman Glen Milne, who is on leave from the U. S. Navy. Mrs. James Ott and children of Salt Lake City, are here visiting her mother, Mrs. Eva Iverson. |
