B.-P. W. Clubs Hold District Conference "Looking Toward Victory and Beyond," was the theme of the southern district B.-P. W. conference confer-ence held in Beaver, Sunday, Oct. 29th. Speakers on the subject were Miss Jeannette M. Rosser, state federation president of Salt Lake City, and Miss Tillie Winsor, state vice president and program coordinator. Miss Rosser also reported re-ported the recent national convention con-vention and Miss Winsor outlined the year's program. Attending from St. George besides be-sides Miss Winsor were Mrs. Ray Whipple, president of the local organization, Miss Mat tie Pendleton, Pendle-ton, vice president; Mrs. Norma Wright, treasurer. Miss Beryl Napier, recording and Miss Maree Higboe. corresponding secretaries, Mrs. Roy Williams and Miss Dolores Do-lores Sullivan, members. The business meeting was held at 1 p. m.. followed by a dinner and program.
