Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Lenzy Hoop-es Reporter Alvin Neilson has accepted the job as Washington city marshal!. Wednesday night, Mrs. Waite's Sunday school class enjoyed a swimming party at the Neilson pool. After the swim they enjoyed en-joyed a weiner roast. They were chaperoned by Mrs. Mildred Nisson Nis-son and Mrs. Helen Neilson. Mrs. Willard Williams and children of aKnarra visited her mother, Mrs. Zina Prisbrey last Thursday. Oren Prince of Las Vegas was a week end visitor here. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Hall and family of Cedar City spent the week end here. Harold Prisbrey was home over the week end from Las Vegas, where he has employment. Mrs. MerriD Lamb and Mrs. Dorothy Carpenter of Orderville spent Wednesday here with relatives. rela-tives. William-Gould, who is employed at Las Vegas, spent Saturday and Sunday with his family. Little Dee Lynn Larson, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Larson, Lar-son, who was seriously hurt when he fell from a trellis on the 24th, is now improving. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wilkins and baby, of Hollywood, Calif., after visiting for a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ormon Wilkins Wil-kins left Wednesday for the northern nor-thern part of the state, where they will visit in Roosevelt and Salt Lake City, before returning to their home. Miss Geneva Prisbrey went to Kanarra last Sunday to spend her vacation with her sister, Mrs. Willard Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams and children of Kanarra and Willard Williams spent Sunday here. Mrs. Rodney Leany and children child-ren of St. George were visitors at the home of her mother, Mrs. Joseph Hannig on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hannig are guests at the home of their parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hannig. Mrs. Helen Neilson and Mrs. Mildred Nisson entertained a group of friends at a shower last Monday Mon-day night in honor of Mrs. Lyle Hannig, the former Miss Lavera Tobler. Miss Onida Williams is visiting friends and relatives at Kanarra. At this writing Mr. Jankele is in a poor condition. Seymour Mitchell was home from Boulder City over the week end. Theodore Prince left on the U. P. bus Tuesday for the northern nor-thern part of the state, where he will spend his vacation. |
