Engagement of Miss Helen Brooks To Sgt. D. Anderson Announced Mrs. George Brooks announces the engagement of her daughter, Helen, to Sgt. Dwayne Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Anderson Ander-son of Fillmore. The couple met while Sgt. Anderson was attending Dixie junior college prior to entering en-tering military service. Miss Brooks made her engagement engage-ment known to a group of intimate inti-mate girl friends recently . at a dinner party at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Paul Hafen. Plates were set for an even dozen, the guests being seated at a long table which held a center piece of sweet peas and bridal wreath in pink and white. Individual nosegays with ribbon streamers carrying imitation engagement en-gagement rings were attached to envelopes bearing the news of the engagement. The marriage awaits the return of Sgt. Anderson from New Guinea. He is employed in the X-ray department of the station sta-tion hospital there.
