Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, July 9, 1936. NOTICE is hereby given that Fish and Game Department of the State of Utah, has made ap-plcation ap-plcation in accordance with the laws of Utah to approprlte 5,000 ac. ft. of water from the drainage drain-age area at Navajo lake in Kane county, Utah. It Is proposed, by virtue of said Application, to construct a dam approximately 30 ft. high above lake floor across Navajo lake from north to south, passing through a point which bears S. 80E. 13,950 ft. from SW cor. Sec. 1, T. 38 S., R. 9W., S. L. B. & M., for the purpose of Impounding water, thus making mak-ing of the west portion of said lake a reservoir nf 14.00(1 ao ft capacity for fish propagation and general recreational purposes. The reservoir thus formed, will be supplied from natural inflow during dur-ing the period from November 1 of each year to June 30 of the year following. That part of the 14,000 ac. ft. thus impounded, in excess of the 5,000 ac. ft. sougt to be approached by said Apv plication, will be released from the reservoir and allowed to flow Into the east end of Navajo lake during the irrigation season at such times and In such quantities quanti-ties as becomes necessary to satisfy sat-isfy prior rights. The balance of the water thus stored, in the amount of 5,000 ac. ft., will be held as storage for fish propagation propa-gation and general recreational purposes. The minimum elevation eleva-tion to which water will be released re-leased from this reservoir will be 13 ft. above lake floor. This application Is designated In the State Engineer's Office as File No. 12122. All protests against the granting grant-ing of said application, stating the reasons therefor, shall be submitted in affidavit form and in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $1.00 and filed in this office within 30 days after the completion com-pletion of the publication of this notice.
