Show FFA and Alpha Gamma To Cooperate On First Annual 'Aggie Day' The first official annual Aggie Day of the Dixie junior college will be staged May 3, according to a report of local officers. Expansion Ex-pansion of the F.F.A. work within the district during the past three years brings the conclusion that the Dixie college should follow other junior colleges in promoting this day as an annual feature. The cooperation of the Alpha Gamma, college athletic organization organiza-tion will make possible an elaborate elabor-ate program featuring the two school clubs, and the day bids fair to be one of the highlights of the spring activities. May 3, also being the county music festival and activity day for high schools of the county, the program is also being staked to (Continued on page eight) First Aggie Day (Continued from first page) promote a unity between the upper and lower division organizations, organi-zations, arid each group will add interests for the other during the day's program. The Alpha Gammas will give an assembly program at 11 a.m. in the college auditorium. There will be an exhibit of F.F.A. accomplishments accom-plishments and a display of the latest in farm machinery and equipment. During the afternoon a grand posture parade will be followed by numerous novelty features, fea-tures, the latter directed by the Aggie club and the former by the Alpha Gammas. Concluding the day's events will be the Aggie Day dance at which Miss Delores Sullivan will be officially of-ficially crowned Aggie Queen, an honor won by Miss Sullivan against many contestants.
