Show Former Dixie Resident Dies At Home In Salt Lake j Funeral services for Jedediah )G. Adair, former St. George resident, resi-dent, were held in the Wandamere ' Ward Chapel in Salt Lake City on , Sunday with Apostle Melvin J. , Ballard as the principal speaker, i Mr. Adair died at his home at 605 Garden Avenue in Salt Lake last Wednesday. , He was born June 5, 1859, a son of George and Myriam B. i ; Adair, who came to Washington county with other Mormon pio-ineers. pio-ineers. He spent his boyhood in 1 Southern Utah taking advantage pof what opportunities were offered ,in the educational field. He spent eight years at Orderville during which time he lived the United Order and while he resided at Tropic, served as superintendent of the Sunday school and president presi-dent of the Aaronic Priesthood Quorum. He followed the occupations of farming and wool buying and during dur-ing the years he worked at the patter occupation he traveled throughout the Western States becoming well known among 1 sheep and cattlemen. |
