Show CCCs Of Nation Plan to Celebrate 4th Anniversary Camps of County Extend Welcome Wel-come to Citizens to Visit And Inspect Them April 4, 193 7 will he a day for a 'wide-spread' celebration in every CCC camp in the Uiiited States. It marks the fourth anniversary an-niversary of the beginning of the CCC and -Robert Rencher, National Na-tional Director of the Civilian Conservation Corps, 'has asked that each CCC camp hold 'open house on tnat date -ror tne puoiic and Extend an invitation to all who wish to attend, to join them at the camps in commemoration of :this event. All communities located near GCC camps are invited to visit ihe camps on Hbat day and participate par-ticipate in the celebration. It will afford the public an excellent excel-lent opportunity to become better acquainted -with the work and life of the camps. The two camps located in Zion National Park, Co. 4779, a North Dakota company, 'and Co. 962, a. Utah company, are planning a joint celebration. A dance wUl be held in 'the camps the evening even-ing iof April 3, and at 2:06 p. .m., Sunday, April 4, all deal's will be thrown open to the public. Numerous gajnes and contests will feature the .afternoon's program and at 7:0C in the eveaing the feature event of the day will :be held at the lecture circle in ithe Park. The. camps extend a. cordial invitation to ;all persons in Southern South-ern Utah to join with them during dur-ing all or part of the celebration. |
