Show Hurricane High Trims Enterprise Wolves 33-21 HURRICANE, Utah Hurricane High school won its first basketball basket-ball game in this year's league competition when it beat Enterprise Enter-prise High school Friday, Jan 7, on the latter's floor. A large crowd of students and faculty members-accompanied members-accompanied the team on the trip. They report a clean and hard fought game with the Hurricane team showing definite superiority as play progressed. The final score was 21-33. The first quarter ended at 9 all. Both teams found the hoop early in the game, but close guarding guard-ing during the second quarter shut out Enterprise, with the score reading 9-14 for Hurricane at half time. This game ought to be a natural, since Kanab is out to repeat last year's performance per-formance and Hurricane is fully detemined to upset the applecart. Fans will recall Kanab's one point victory here one year ago, but vow that the shoe will be on the other foot this time. The local boys definitely have their eye on the division flag which has been taken but once in Hurricane's thirteen years of competition, found Hurricane's squad far in front with the score at 11-29. The Enterprise boys scored 10 points during the last quarter, mostly at the expense of the reserves which Coach Brooks sent in to finish the game.
