Show Guests From Many Places Attend Dinner Here Among the interesting family Thanksgiving dinners was that held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Schmutz in this city when 30 guests surrounded the table, including relatives from Ogden, Price, Kanarraville, Hurricane, Hur-ricane, Santa Clara, St. George and Lucerne, Switzerland. Coming from Ogden were Mr. and Mrs, Alfred Larson and two children; from Price, Mrs. Henry Branch, aunt of the Schmutzes, from Kanarraville, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies; from Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Schmutz, Mrs. Densie Beames and Miss Claudia Beanies; - from Santa Clara, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Gubler and children chil-dren and from St. George Mrs. Rosena Blake and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Blake. From Lucerne, Switzerland, Swit-zerland, came Miss Irma Hiblings, fiance of their son, Howard Schmutz, who returned Wednesday Wednes-day evening from spending nearly three years in the Swiss-German mission of the L.D.S. church. These guests enjoyed a genuine home-raised, home-prepared feast, including roast baby pig, and mammoth turkey, vegetables, fruit and all the trimmings, with only the celery, olives and cranberries not of their own raising or grown locally. |
