"Sir," he exclaimed, "this man owes me a grocery bill amounting to no less than $20, and refuses to pay it!" . The second man sprang up. "That's a lie!" he cried, indignantly. indig-nantly. "My dog didn't bite him." There was a pause while the magistrate reviewed the situation, then he announced his decision.
