Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Lyman Perkins has been laid up this week due to an accident he had with a horse. A very nice evening's entertainment entertain-ment was enjoyed by neighbors Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Thurston. The occasion being Mrs Thurston's Thurs-ton's birthday anniversary. Mrs. Sarah Thurston has been in Cedar City the past two weeks with her grandson, Mayhew Cox and family. Mrs. Ethel Allen went to Kanab Monday for a visit. She returned home Wednesday, her daughter, Mrs. Perry Johnson, accomparty-ed accomparty-ed her for a short visit here with relatives. Mrs. Karl Perkins entertained the sewing club at her home on Thursday. Mrs. Annie W. Wilkinson entertained en-tertained Thursday evening at a house party. School closed Friday. Mrs. Biggers and the children gave a very nice program Friday evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Biggers left Saturday for El Paso, Texas, where they will remain for the summer. Annie W. Wilkinson and Ray Palmer went to Hurricane Sunday Sun-day to attend the genealogical conference. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Davis and little daughter of Kanarraville ' M left today for their hone ; j' several days visit here with ' Davis' sister, Mrs. Karl S. '" kins.
