Show Mrs. Henrietta Frehner Dies At Logandale, Nevada Following Illness Funeral services were held in Littlefield at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for Henrietta Reber Frehner, 72, widow of the late Henry Frehner. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lou Adams in Logandale, Nev., at 5 a.m. Monday, following several months of illness from general complications. Services were in charge of Bp. Harold Reber, with music furnished fur-nished by the Mesquite ward choir. The numbers included, "How Gentle God's Commands". 'Tlome, Beautiful Home", and "Sometime", and a solo "Going Home" by Leonard Reber. Addresses were made by George F. Whitehead of St. George, Pres. W. L. Jones of Moapa stake and William E. Abbott of Mesquite. All paid tribute to the deceased, telling of her cheerful, sunny disposition, dis-position, her friendliness, sympathy sym-pathy and humble religious faith. All had known her during the time she and her husband kept the only house for the traveling public in Littlefield. There were many incidents related concerning her deeds of kindness and all praised her for her service to the community and the church, and commended her and her husband hus-band for the honorable and upright up-right children whom they had left on the earth to carry on. Pallbearers were her six grandsons, grand-sons, Vernon and Randall Frehner, Freh-ner, Keith Adams, Lee Earl and Arlan and Orlin Frehner, and prayers were by Bp. Edward R. Frei and Theodore Graff, both of Santa Clara. Henrietta Frehner was born in Santa Clara January 2S. 1SG6. the daughter of Samuel and Nettie Knecht Reber. She attended attend-ed school and continued to reside in Santa Clara until 1SS3 when she married Henry Frehner and moved to Littlefield, which has since been their home. They were among the first residents of Littlefield and for many years their home was made the stop-' over place for travelers, especially the Mormon colonizers who traveled to and from the Muddy Valley mission. They made many lasting friends from all parts of the country and Mrs. Frehner's services were attended at-tended by many friends and relatives rela-tives from Hurricane, St. George, Santa Clara, Ivins, Utah; Las Vegas, Overton, Logandale, Bun-kerville, Bun-kerville, Mesquite and elsewhere in Nevada. Of her nine children, which included in-cluded two pairs of twins, the following survive: Joseph Frehner, Freh-ner, Littlefield; Alfred Frehner, Mesquite ; Mrs. Lou Adams, Logan-dale, Logan-dale, and Mrs. Milton Earl, Overton. Over-ton. There are also 20 grandchildren grandchil-dren and four great-grandchildren. All four of her children were with her when death came. |
