Show VIRGIN yiKGIX, Feb. 28. An old folks' party was given here last Friday evening, the principal princi-pal features of which were a supper, program and dancing. A large crowd was present, and everyone had an enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Maloney and children and Orval Flanigan narrowly escaped serious injury Sunday evening when the automobile auto-mobile in which they were riding collided with a machine driven by Leland Russell of Springdale, on the La Verkin hill. The car tipped over and rolled over three times before landing in a wash. Flanigan received bruises and cuts about the head, and Mrs. Maloney's hip was- badly bruised, j but otherwise the group was un-1 hurt. Mrs. Jc-anette Vilcox is at Mesa, Arizona, visiting her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Mathews. Walter Wilcox of Walla Walla, Wash., is here visiting relatives and friends. Horace and Neida Cornelius Venice and Udella Spendlove spent the week end at home. |
