Show Pursuant to the provisions of joint resolution of Congress, approved ap-proved Mfiy 1, 1933, the crop loan regulations are amended to permit loans: in the winter wheat growing districts . of Utah, Idaho and Colorado, Col-orado, maturing on or before August Aug-ust 31, 1934 for summer fallowing fallow-ing and seeding purposes. Applicants Appli-cants for such loans will be required re-quired to give a promisory note for the amount thereof, payable to the Secretary of Agriculture on or before August 31, 1934, and bearing bear-ing interest at 5-12 per cent per annum, and a first lien on the wheat crop to be harvested in 1934. The loan limits for seed and summer fallowing are not to exceed ex-ceed $1.50 per acre in Utah and Idaho, or $1.25 per acre in Colorado. Color-ado. The maximum loan to any one individual will not exceed $300.00. Applicants for these loans must agree to plant not to exceed seventy per cent of the acreage planted to winter wheat in 1932. Loans to the tenants of any one land owner, in any single county, shall not exceed $2,000.00. Applications may be made at the usual places and must be mailed in time to be received at the Crop Production Loan Office not later than May 31, 19 33. Applicants who have already received 193 3 crop production loans are also eligible el-igible for an additional $300.00 maximum loan, under the new provisions. The right is reserved to make payment of the loan in installments, install-ments, the amount of the installment install-ment to be determined by the representatives re-presentatives of the Secretary of Agriculture. Initial payment will be made at the time the loan is approved and subsequent installments install-ments will follow after expenditure expendi-ture of the initial payment is shown to have been made in accordance ac-cordance with the law and regulations. |
