Show IRENE STOLOFSKY NEXT LYCEUM NUMBER Irene Stolofsky, the marvel violinist, violin-ist, will appear in the Tabernacle Monday, Feb. 9th. as the fourth number num-ber of the Dixie college Lyceum course. Miss Stolofsky is known to Dixie audiences, having appeared in concert here two years ago. Those who heard her at that time will remember that she held the audience under a spell of musical wizardry. Her numbers num-bers are played writh a masterly touch, but it is when in encores she gives the old familiar numbers, that she steals into the innermost recesses of cue's soul. Mrs. Rosco Gilmore Scott, said of Miss Stolofsky, "I am prepared to say without reservation that I frankly consider her the one greatest musician music-ian in the lyceum and chautauq.ua world. Her technique is sound and her personality pleasing." Appearing with Miss Stolofsky is George B. Inibrie, baritone. There is in Mr. Imbrie's voice that characteristic char-acteristic human appeal which never fails to win an audience. |
