Show Dream and Reality Come With That Little Home A home is a dream of young manhood man-hood and young womanhood at the age when each is attracted strongly to the other. The girl dreams of an Ideal home. A bungalow, perhaps, set down in a bit of wood, or on the edge of the lake, or by a winding river. Inside, In-side, everything cozy, furniture that matches, room by room, the artistic effect ef-fect perfect throughout. And the young man dreams that he will build just as she wants It. Years roll on and that home is a reality. Not in a bit of wood, nor by a winding river, the chances are, with, other cottages crowding closely close-ly around its meager lawn. And the rooms within they are not quite like a picture a girl cut, years ago, from . woman's magazine, showing what the correct fashioning should be. There is an oak table here, a walnut stand over there, and perhaps a piece or two of mahogany. An artist wouldn't rave over the draperies. But it Is home. There are children on that lawn. The children's necessities have prevented the buying of more expensive furnishings. Warm hearts meet around the evening table. More years, with that home an autumnal au-tumnal haven for two. But to the children who have gone out from it, it does become a dream, on Ideal, for It holds for thera their dearest memories. memo-ries. Dream and reality, reality and dream, that is the cycle. And it is this cycle that makes the home eternal, eter-nal, a plnce untouched by the yearf as they pass. |
