SHORT CREEK. ARIZ, Mr. and Mrs. Moses Gifford and Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Soeg-miller Soeg-miller of Springdale visited relatives re-latives and friends here Sunday. I. W. Carling and Leonard Black made a trip to Cedar City Friday for freight. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. C. Cox were business vistors in Hurricane Hurri-cane Saturday. Several people from here attended at-tended the funeral of Mrs. Olive Stock of Cane Beds Wednesday. Deputy Sheriff Millard Black was away three days last week on business. Maryett Carling has been quite 111 for several days, but is improving im-proving at present. Mr. Thompson, supervisor was in this district several days last week. He he'd a meeting to discuss dis-cuss problems in regard to the education of the children.
