Show LEEDS LEEDS, July 18. Miss Fay Stirling returned Wednesday from Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Kenry Jolley were called to Tropic last week on account of the death of their daughter. Walter Eagar and Floyd Hc-Mullin Hc-Mullin made a business trip to Gunnison during the past week. Mrs. Martha Flemraing of Overton. Ov-erton. Nev., returned to her home last Friday after having spent a week here visiting relatives. Merwin Hartman returned from Las Vegas last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harris and Mr. and Mrs. R.eed Blake were visiting in Zion park last week. Jed Adair of Salt Lake City spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Jolley. Morton Morris directed a crew of men repairing the highway here following the recent rains. A severe hail storm hit here last Tuesday, doing damage to farms north of town. Melon patches and gardens were destroyed de-stroyed and the leaves stripped from corn and cane. Very little damage was done in town.. |
