Show Toquerville EX-SOI.DIKU'S DKATIt Our community was thrown in a state of mourning by the death of Roland Naegle. He had been in bed with flu for about ten days and Saturday night it turned to pneumonia, Monday noon he died. He was the son of John C. and Annie Bringhurst Naegle, was born February 27, 1S98, at Toquerville. To-querville. His parents moved to Maxico when he was seven months old and stayed until 1910 when they returned here. He enlisted for the World war in October 1917 and was discharged in June, 1919. On December 10, 1929, he married Vera Smith daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith of this city. He is survived by his w'ife and a small son, Keith, his mother and the following brothers and sisters, John, of Sharon, Wyoming; Wyom-ing; David, Gilbert, Arizona; Kate Huish Douglas, Ariz.; Leona Beatty, Ataskederio, Calif., and Jesse of Toquerville. Funeral services ser-vices were under direction of American Legion Post 100. Music was by choir; solo, Lillian William;; Wil-liam;; violin solo, Blanch Lamb; duet, Harvey Jackman and Josephine Jose-phine Theobald. Speakers were A. P. Spillsbury, Archie Kleinman Bishop Roundy of Alton and President Pre-sident Claudius Hirschi. The grave was dedicated by Harvey Hall. School closed Friday and Miss Lounise Hopkins of St. George and Miss Rozelba Gubler of l.a-Verkin l.a-Verkin left for home. Mr. Gerald Seegmiller will remain here for the summer. M?ss Bnelah Kleinman returned return-ed home Friday from Cedar where -he has been attending school. Mrs. Ben Bringhurst and Infant son returned home Wednesday after spending six weeks in St. George. -Mr. and Mr. Lyman Merrill of Los Angeles returned home after visiting about two weeks here and at Provo. Mrs. Reed Beatty of Ataskadero arrived here Wednesday to attend the funeral of her brother, Roland Ro-land Naegle. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Batty and Mr. and Mrs. James Fleshcr have moved to Pintura for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Johnson have moved to Anderson's ranch fur the summer. Miss Lula Slack spent Sunday hero visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. It. Slack. Mrs. A. K. Gregerson spent Wednesday visiting her sister, Mrs. ILarry Slack. Mr. and Mis. J. Z. Naegle and daughters Verene and Mrs. Fawn "ornero and son Ora arrived here Saturday from Los Angeles where h. y had been visiting Mr.i. Fawn "omen, and (Jra left Monday for Los Angeles.
