Show NOTES FROM CO. 001 (TO Word has been received from the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City that Chaplain Theodore Theo-dore Curtis is recovering rapidly from the injuries he sustained in an automobile accident the evening even-ing of December 5. Chaplain Curtis was on his way to hold services at the Zion Park lamp, when due to glaring head-. head-. -ights, the car he was riding in crashed into a loaded truck. The Chanlain sustained a broken jaw and several ulcerations around t'i- icd and arms. All other n. rubers involved wer-e fortunate in sustaining minor injurle3 and shock. Captain Arthur L. Warren stands relieved from active duty with the Civilian Conservation Corps and is in receipt of orders to proceed to his home station, Fort Lewis, Washington. The officers, state men and members of Co. 9ol all regret that Captain Warren stands relieved re-lieved from Co. 961 and only hope that his impression of Co. 961 will be remembered as long as our company will remember him. as an officer, considerate, decisive, and fair in all his dealings deal-ings with the men. The Co. played Santa Clara Camp last Sunday in baseball and lost a closely contested game 8 to 4. Thursday night a basket ball game between Co. 961 and Washington was played at Washington Wash-ington and our boys displayed their wares and won the came. Miss Watson held a very interesting inter-esting program Thursday night at the camp. The program was very well received and they are asking for a return engagement in the near future. |
