Show VKRY NARROW ESCAPE While John. Woodbury of Cedar City and members of his family were bringing Mr. Woodbury's mother to her home in this city Monday, their car overturned on this end of the new piece of road at Ash Creek, Mrs. Woodbury and some others being under un-der the car. They were extricated as soon as possible and taken to Bellevue, Dr. Woodbury of this city and Dr. Berg-strom Berg-strom of Cedar City being notified. Upon arrival of the doctors it was found that none were seriously injured, in-jured, but all were considerably bruised and shaken up. Those in the car which capisized were Mr. and Mrs. John W'oodbury, Mr. Woodbury's mother and father-in-law, Miss Lena Woodbury and j Miss Lola Jackson. ! Mrs. Woodbury, Sr., is the grand-! grand-! mother of Dr. Woodbury. She was the most seriously injured of any of ; the party, her head having come in j contact with some black lave rocks ' cut and bruised it considerably, j Mrs. J. S. Woodbury had been spending the summer in Salt 4 Lake ! because of poor health and vS&s on her way home when the accident oc-! oc-! curred. She is doing as well as can j be expected considering her advanced age, 79 years. 1 The cause of the accident was a ; flat tire. |
