Show ANNE PRICE REELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE 15PWO Last night at a business meeting meet-ing of the St. George Business and Professional Women's club, Mrs. Anne R. Price was reelected president of the organization for the ensuing year. With Mrs. Price were reinstated other officers of-ficers who have acted with her during the short period since this organization was perfected in St. George. The other officers offi-cers are: First Vlce-P'isident, Miss Tillie Winsor, Gecond Vice-President, Vice-President, Mrs. Kate B. Empey, Recording Secretary, Miss Mar-iam Mar-iam Ahlstrom, Corresponding Secretary, Sec-retary, Miss Lyle Taylor, and Treasurer, Miss Mishie Seegmil-ler. Seegmil-ler. In a letter recently received by Mrs. Price from Miss Margaret Margar-et Edwards, State Music Chairman, Chair-man, the local chapter was invited in-vited to send the trio, consisting of Misses Mona Reber. Una Pickett, Pick-ett, and Katherine Clark, Mrs. Mae Pace, accompanying, to the State convention of Business and Professional Women's clubs to be held in Salt Lake City on May 25 and 26. The trio will sing two numbers at the banquet held in the evening of May 25 at the Hotel New House. It is planned that three other delegates will accompany the trio to the convention. Among the delegates will be Mrs. Price, who will represent the St. George chapter in response to a breakfast break-fast given on Sunday, May 2 6 in honor of the two youngeRt clubs in the state, St. George and Cedar City. |
