Show ROCKVILLE I ROCKVILLE, Sept. 2 7. Twenty-two Twenty-two students left during the past week to attend high school and college. The majority are registered at Dixie College in St. George, while others are attending attend-ing B. A. C. at Cedar City and Hurricane high school. Mrs. Warren Hirschi, Miss Mar-cia Mar-cia Terry, Mrs. Orley Dalton and Mrs. Marvin Terry spent Fiday in St. George. Sheriff Win. Brooks was a business busi-ness visitor here Friday. Antone Moody spent the week end at Hurricane. Homer Englestead of Hurricane and Robert Dean and Henry Cornelius Cor-nelius of Virgin were here on business Monday. Leonard Dalton and Mrs. David Dennett attended the Democratic convention at Hurricane Saturday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Irving Dalton entertained en-tertained a number of friends at a melon party Sunday evening. The junior league enjoyed a wei-nie wei-nie roast the same night. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Covington . of Grafton have moved into town for the winter. Mrs. James Jennings, Jr., is home from the Washington County Coun-ty hospital where she underwent a goiter operation. Miss Helen Jennings has returned re-turned from Las Vegas where she spent ssveral weeks visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Guy DeMille spent Saturday in Cedar City. Mrs. Lloyd Foremaster and baby ba-by daughter of Las Vegas spent the week end visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Jennings. Edwin DeMille, Grant Lang-ston Lang-ston and Virgil Millett are home from a business trip to Nevada. Sir. and Mrs. P. Jones are home again after a vacation trip to the mountains. Mrs. Earl Lawrence Law-rence returned with them and will visit for a short time. Mrs. Leonard Dalton, Mrs. Guy DeMille and Mrs. Brigham Dalton Dal-ton spent Friday in St. George. |
